Rock Of Ages Rolls Onto The PSN

It's called a "balls-to-the-walls game of tower offense featuring fast-paced strategy," and it also includes "high art and gigantic boulders of doom."

…doesn't that sound intriguing?

Atlus and ACE Team have announced that Rock of Ages is now available on the PlayStation Network. It previously released on the Xbox Live Arcade and Steam late last year, and now it's time to give the PlayStation family a peek.

This PSN iteration will boast "a host of added features and content" and best of all, if you're a PlayStation Plus member, the game will be free for a limited time! Plus, we get a new game mode, "Obstacle Course," which tasks players with competing in head-to-head matches with a friend (local or online) or an AI opponent. Whoever crosses the finish line first wins, although the boulder power-ups that can be gathered along the way ought to make things interesting right up until the last second…

Lastly, we receive an enhanced version of the classic "War" mode, which lets players use defensive units that would otherwise be inaccessible given the stage and its time period. Finish it off with a bunch of tweaks and refinements, and you've got the most complete Rock of Ages experience yet, so give it a try.

Hmm… Never even heard of it, but from your brief description I think I might be interested in this one. I'm gonna have to go and download it in a few minutes.

I D/L'ed it yesterday but I've got so much stuff going on right now that I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

But I did like what I saw from all the trailers Atlus had been sending me from right from the very beginning, so all these add-ons or upgrades will surly keep this game rolling right along.

its a fun game, not really my thing, but its still fun to play around with.
i just had trouble with the controls at first (just me). the left stick controls
the camera while the right stick navigates your boulder.
