Ben-DutkaIf you're looking for another survival/horror game with Shinji Mikami's name on it – the Resident Evil guru is branching out, as you probably already know – you've got one: It's code-named "Zwei."
Mikami's first project with his new Tango Gameworks was revealed in Famitsu and summarized at Andriasang ; as it turns out, Mikami is the game's executive director and is "fully involved" in the development. The last time he was in a similar position was when he worked on Platinum's Vanquish .
The genre is indeed survival/horror and he said he wants to "meet player expectations," and he listened to feedback during meetings with Zenimax (Tango's parent). Right now, it's a long way from being complete; Mikami says about half the basic settings are done, but at least development will be "speeding up" in the near future. Tango is currently hiring and they're especially looking for "talented programmers," so that's a good sign. As for Bethesda's role in the whole process, Mikami says it's "mostly through support as a publisher."
Hopefully, we'll learn more about "Zwei" some time soon.

No, this is Tango Gameworks we are talking about. Bethesda will publish it, not develop it. Big difference here.
and the point is?
RAGE was not made by bugthesda it was made by id, normally the KINGS of polish!
that did not stop RAGE coming out one of the roughest unfinished games ive EVER played!
played it on both ps3 and pc and its got so much screen tearing, frame rate drops and pop in i have not seen since the ps2 GTA era!
almost every game published by bugthesda this gen has been riddled with bugs, so i think the concern of this taking the same fate is well justified!
My ears perked when I read this. We need more survival Horror. But it has to be scarey!!
Japanese survival horror? Count me in! I wish it were coming sooner.
Oh ,hell yes! We haven't had a proper japanese survival horror game on the PS3 since Siren Blood Curse. And that was three years ago. It's about time.

I want to have the same guttural feeling I had playing the original Clocktower back in the day.
Clocktower was awesome! My mom used to actually sit here and watch me play it, she would jump out of her seat everytime the music started going and start yelling at me what to do, lol. I had to tell her countless times to shut up and let me figure out what to do, especially since she had no clue as she didn't play any games at the time, boy did she love watching me play those games.

If it s anything like the pics and it s truly survival horror and not an action title with some slight survival horror tone like re 5-6 , it could be great .
For now it obviously picked my interest since i love survival horror and i m dying for more .

sorry, but ive been let down by FAR too many games this gen who claim to be survival horror and are nothing but mindless action games!
i hope it is survival horror is by FAR my favourite genre out there, and its been FAR too long since weve had a proper survival horror game!
but forgive me if im a little sceptical.

Very exciting, but I hope this doesn't deter RE6 at all.
