Okay, so who thinks this one has a legitimate shot to top Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for the best shooter of 2012?
EA has announced that Medal of Honor: Warfighter i s set to launch on October 23, and they tossed out an official announcement trailer, too.
Apparently, EA plans to release the anticipated sequel internationally on the aforementioned date, so our European friends won't have to wait. The trailer shows off the game's elite Tier 1 operators and a bunch of locales and vehicles; it looks pretty damn authentic and reminds us once again that the last Medal of Honor was a great experience. Also, don't forget that if you pre-order the game, you'll automatically be upgraded to the Limited Edition.
Unsurprisingly, Warfighter will utilize the Frostbite 2.0 engine, which met with widespread critical acclaim when it was featured in last year's Battlefield 3 . A whole lot of EA projects are using the engine, actually (and that includes racing games). Here's hoping Danger Close hits the mark once again; can't wait for this one!

Frostbite 2.0 count me in!
Amen to that.
I really liked the last MOH, but the graphics where just a little to "mudy"
They used frostbite 1.5 for the 2010 release, so i'm hooping for more over the top action.
As far as dominating cod, i freaking wish…
You'd think bobby would of learned from guitar hero…

The mulitiplayer used frostbite, but if i'm not mistaken the single player used a modified unreal engine, thats what i was refereeing to.
The mulitiplayer in MOH looked pretty good.

Absolutely… count me in 2… this will be a ride and a half…
Q!
"play.experience.enjoy"
Cool trailer. Nothing spectactular, but it shows a good experience is on the way.
The MP experience has me excited. Blue on Blue anyone?!
Probably no shot at all of doing better than CoD. And Bioshock comes out around then sooo…. not gonna be a Warfighter (whatever that is) in this war.
I liked the trailer, and I loved the MoH reboot, so count me in! Looks like this will be another year full of FPS! MoH, CoD, Bioshock, where shall I find the time! This is actually when I hope I like one more than the other so I don't have to try and juggle the games! Just finish it and be done, and move on to the next!
looks awesome!
just one thing, why does it have to use FB2?
come on, that has got to be the biggest disappointment engine ever released!
CE3 makes this look like ancient history!
come on EA, just because your whoring out all your games does not mean you have to whore out your engine too.
im sick of every single EA game having to use FB2!
Does MoH have a shot at doing better than CoD? Not a chance.
Does MoH have a shot at being better than CoD? A damn good one.
Cant wait for this. So far October is shaping up to be pretty awesome for me with this and AC3
hopefully they will actually support the game with dlc map packs etc unlike the last one. The weapons sound effects in the last MOH were the best out there. Multiplayer was pretty good and was a great game to alternate with BlackOps
They didn't support it with a lot of DLC because it failed horribly lol Just like this one will do. The last one wasn't that bad imo, but I'm definitely not going to be dropping $60 on it.
Hell ya D1P for me!
