Ben-DutkaWith all the rumors and the Game Developers Conference coming up next week, it's probably inevitable.
GameTrailers TV host Geoff Keighley has teased a bunch of big game announcements for March, although he didn't provide any hints or specifics. According to his Twitter page , gamers should be awfully excited. New games are what we live for, after all.
"A few GTTV shoots coming up this week. Lots of new game announcements coming your way in March (not just on GTTV)."
Yeah, we assume a few will arrive during GDC 2012, which starts on March 5. But what games will we hear about? Maybe God of War IV is a given, what with all the news surrounding that hotly anticipated title. Then there's always the scant possibility of seeing Metal Gear Solid 5 , and let's not forget the newly released Vita. It had 26 titles at launch but there are over 100 in development, and we don't know about a lot of them.
But what games do you expect to see? Or rather, what do you want to see?
i want a assasins creed for vita. that would be awesome. i dont think that has been announced.
The only thing I'm looking forward to so far at GDC is the reveal of the new Unreal Engine.
I've seen screen shots of Unreal Engine 4..looks pretty good if you ask me.
Ratchet & Clank HD collection for the love of God, Sony! You know we want it, we know you're making it, just announce the friggin' collection already!!
Other than that, God of War IV sounds awesome. I'll be excited for whatever is announced really.
Maybe Quantic Dream will finally show their new game. Im sure games I would love(jrpgs) wont be there.

Speaking of March… it's packed!! Silent Hill, Mass Effect, Journey, Resident Evil, etc. March MADNESS!!!! Gonna be great, these new reveals are a big bonus. Thanks Keighley. 😉
God of War IV is what I want to hear. Would be nice to hear something about what Quantic Dream and Respawn are going to put out next as well

want to see agent, R&C collection, GTA collection, 8 days, the getaway 3, ape escape and syphon filter.
if ANY of those actually are ever announced though ill eat my hat!

Last I heard about BG&E2 was that the creator stated that it wouldn't come out until the next gen hardware was out.
Would love to see God of War IV. I'm curious it will be a prequel/sidestory/sequel to III, or if they're going to take the (apparent) conclusion of the Kratos story to move onto either a new protagonist or even a new mythical realm altogether. I've been pulling for a move into Norse mythology for years, and they could even bring Kratos along for the ride (he would go through some sort of transformation during the transition to the new realm to him a more context appropriate appearance, in my imagining of this game). I'm open to sticking around the Greek mythology landscape for a while if they can come up with a good premise, but I do worry that that world been well covered at this point.
so yeah, VERY curious about Sony's next move on that series 🙂
What else? GOD I would love to get a detailed look at Kojima Pro's games, namely Project Ogre, but I'm not optimistic it will be there. A closer look at GTA V would be nice.
Over in the Nintendo camp, I'd like to see the new Zelda they are working on for 3DS (teased in a swap note, for those of us who bothered to download that software.) I'm not one of those maniac fans but I'm interested to see what's next for Metroid, too. Also, Miyamoto has talked a fairly big game recently about wanting to develop entirely new game series. Well, let's see what ya got.
