Medal Of Honor: Warfighter Set For Fall

Although some critics weren't impressed, we were big fans of Medal of Honor .

Therefore, this comes as good news: it started with various sources citing the Official Xbox Magazine, Danger Close has been cranking on the new MoH installment, and it might arrive this October.

It's called Medal of Honor: Warfighter and apparently, they'll be using the Frostbite 2.0 engine, which was first utilized in last year's Battlefield 3 . However, while Danger Close farmed out the multiplayer in the 2010 Medal of Honor (DICE handled that element of the production), they won't be doing that this time; multiplayer is being designed in-house.

Danger Close confirmed the project and handed out the first image. It's set to arrive this fall and we're plenty excited.

I can't wait, I loved the first one and although the campaign was really short I played through it multiple times.

My only hope is that the campaign is longer, hopefully 10 hours or so.

I really enjoyed the multiplayer, my favorite fps multiplayer yet. I just hope that danger close keeps the multiplayer similar to it's predecessor's.
The multiplayer games would usually go down to the last seconds, and everyones blood would be pumping

Nice. I was going to say that if they used Unreal again I was going to pass. But since they are using Frostbite 2.0, I'll keep an open mind.

hated the first one…i only got it to get in BF3 beta early… multilayer was ok, but the games would hardly last longer than 8min… it was a bit of a shock specially after playing BFBC2 for so long before this..

Cant wait for this one! MoH is one of my favorite shooters of this generation. With a little more polish, it would have been more competitive. But regardless I played the crap out of MoH and plan to do the same with this next installment! Good news!

Happy to hear about Dice not handling the MP part , got bored of it fast . The sp was really good tho .

If you wrote this because you played bf3 on PC and plan to get MOH on pc then fine . But if you re talking about the ps3 then i don t see why , frostbite engine 2 don t look good on that console at all ( hopefully it was just bad programming or something ) .

Edit :Forgot to mention i only played MP ( well maybe 10 min of sp , they looked to be a little better there tho )so the graphics might have been on lower quality then SP .

soooooooooooooooooooo cant wait for this!
loved the original because its the only military shooter out there that actually makes you feel like your in the army!
i just hope they add more stealth missions, the original felt a little too emphasised on mindless action.
need a better deeper story too.
id love to see the concepts in spec ops the line in this.
have a more meaningful deep story to it.
have a reason why your at war, and a reason why your tasked to ripping the place up.

I never got around to the reboot, but I've heard good things. MoH was my go-to FPS series back in the PS1 and early PS2 days, so I'm glad they're continuing to breathe new life into the series. Also, I'm more in favor of this method of "annual" release, where two developers within a publisher pool their resources to develop two separate series with their own styles as opposed to the annual CoD release.
