Despite what many other critics thought, we really liked the Medal of Honor reboot . And we definitely want that sequel.
We've known for a while that team Danger Close was likely working on a follow-up effort but it may become official next month. According to NOW Gamer , UK publication PSM3 will reveal Medal of Honor 2 in their next issue, which is set to drop on March 6.
Apparently, this new title is called a "mystery shooter sequel" but for the time being, that's all we know. We do know, however, that EA probably won't have a new Battlefield title for 2012, so they'll be counting on the second Medal of Honor to compete with whatever Call of Duty is slated for the year. There's even less chance of MoH2 selling as much as CoD (in comparison to the BF/CoD battle), but we're certain Danger Close can produce a fantastic game. They're using the Frostbite 2.0 engine, too, remember.
Expect the sequel in question to arrive for the holiday season. Just a guess.

Pretty excited actually. I loved the Medal of Honor reboot, so it'll be interesting to see what danger close can do with this one.
Loved the multiplayer, lost my self to hours at a time in it
Loved MOH's single player mode.
Quite an intriguing proposition!
Will have to check it out when it arrives. I never played MOH 1 but I heard great things about the single player campaign, as BaikerSaint above has eluded too.
So I will be keen on the review and to see how this game turns out!

I really hope this rumor is true. I loved the first one and really can't wait for its sequel. Danger Close did a great job with the campaign and the multiplayer was a blast. Let's hope this announcement comes soon and the game really does drop this fall.
what makes you think MoH 2?
plenty of "military shooters" out there that are due for a 2nd iteration.
maybe even homefront 2.
or even army of two.
or sniper ghost warrior 2.
Simply the best FPS single player campaign I have ever played.
