If you loved the Portal games (who didn't?), you should definitely pay attention.
Airtight Games and ex-Portal designer Kim Swift are currently working on Quantum Conundrum , a downloadable title that focuses on puzzle-based first-person gameplay…sound familiar?
Swift leads us through an 8-minute walkthrough of the gameplay and as you can see, this game features much of the complexity we found in Portal and Portal 2 . There are laser beams that need bypassing, switches that need pressing, and objects that need getting. The different dimensions – like the one that makes everything "fluffy" – lies at the core of the experience.
Being big fans of Portal 2 , we love to see new projects like this. And it moves exactly like Valve's titles, too; the same gliding-on-ice movement and outdated object physics, and… Yeah, we have to admit the latter but that's okay, because Quantum Conundrum looks like another piece of creative and imaginative genius.

Wow… Charming. Me wants!

Looks awesome, so awesome they can stop trying to remind us of Portal with this game and just market it as a separate puzzler 😀
This game looks awesome, definitely a day one purchase for me. Can't wait!
That video isn't working so I'll behave like a typical rabid gamer and say RIPOFF!
Looks way cool!
Not saying its a ripoff, but its so similar its almost like Valve actually did make it. Maybe they should sue.
Nah, who am I kidding? This looks great. Maybe I'll actually buy more than 1 downloadable title this year: this and Journey.
Pretty cool.
What do you mean outdated objects physics?
Sweet. That looks like lots of fun. I will definitely check it out
