Xbox 360 players will have to sign up on the game's website before being granted access to the beta and even then, they only have a chance of receiving a key. But all PSN users are good to go.
F.E.A.R. developer Monolith is behind this production, which they describe as "Batman with guns." Thing is, the impostors are the bad guys, so players will assume the role of citizens of Gotham City. Initially, the game was supposed to launch on January 10 for the PS3, 360 and PC but it has since been delayed to February; apparently, previous beta feedback made this necessary. Now's the time to add your feedback and suggestions; log on now and download away.

First off i love this this game but i now know why……….. Batman imposters + Call of Duty is what i got from Multiplayer and is a Day 1 purchase from me.
2 more hours and I can go home and begin this download. I really want to see what this is like and give feedback. Love me some betas..
imo its a great game, lots of fun.. plenty of toys to play with, love it.
but the lobby match making is terrible, really bad.
this just seems/looks/and sounds stupid
they should have just made a mode available with some guns in the batman games if they want guns so bad
it better release as a digital game im going to take a shot in the dark and say it wont sell very well otherwise
DJ.. its not that stupid, its just a lil light hearted fun.
its just wanna be super heroes dressed up, clumsy with it, fighting in a fun environment. in this day and age of real war death murder kill.. its just something a lil more relaxed. this game shouldn't be taken too seriously.
im not saying its a quality as much as the stellar FPS's out there, but you know.. it aint bad!

for some bizarre reason it reminds me a lil of Team fortress.. maybe its the fun element, im not too sure. but theres a lot of old skool in this game.
It's awesome! Everyone should try it out; don't just assume that it's stupid, because I guarantee that if you play a few matches, you'll find yourself having trouble putting the controller down 😀

I quit after a few rounds quite easily. Twitch MP FPSs just aren't my thing.
That said, I was impressed by the level of polish on the beta, especially with regards to the introduction / training bits. Much better than Starhawk, which I still have yet to get to launch successfully.

I played this last night for a few hours and I had a really good time. It's not the world's best shooter, but it's pretty entertaining.
There are some balance issues already, but it's to be expected, as it's a Beta.
I mean, I think it speaks a lot about a multi-player shooter, if you are having a bunch of fun and you aren't playing with friends.
I don't know if the novelty will wear off right away, but so far, so good.
Again, not the polished shooter that say… BF3 is, but still very fun and easy to play.
