Ben-DutkaIt's time for the third season of the PlayStation Network's exclusive original competitive reality series, "The Tester."
Today, Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) has announced the panel lineup and cast members for Season 3. Once again, a set of die-hard gamers will compete for a job as a Production Associate at Sony's Santa Monica Studio (yep, the God of War team).
Returning panelists for the show include Adrianne Curry, America's Next Top Model winner and star of VH1 reality shows "The Surreal Life" and "My Fair Brady," and Brent Gocke, senior release manager at SCEA. This third season will also see the return of host Meredith Molinari, so you'll see several recognizable faces when the first episode of the third season premieres on February 7, 2012. "Additional distinguished gaming industry guests" will scrutinize the 12 contestants; the winner receives not only the aforementioned job, but also: a $5,000 signing bonus, a 55" 3D Bravia 3D TV, a PlayStation 3, and a 2012 Ford Focus Titanium.

Season 2 resulted in over 3.5 million downloads on the PSN, which was a 46% increase from the debut season and right now, both Seasons 1 and 2 are available for free download in both high-definition and standard definition. They're definitely worth a look.

I always wondered, why would one of the prizes be a Playstation 3? Surely the contestants are PS Fans, therefore they would own PS3s, no? Lol it just baffles me 😛
Exactly! If they are 'Die-hard' gamers, surely they own a PS3 (Plus their PSN Id's are given too)
Funny enough, there was a contestant in season 2 who didn't own a PS3.
An extra one for the living room, maybe? 😛

If you don't know who egoraptor is, you need to do some serious google searching. I promise it's worth it. After all the laughs I got from his videos, I definitely needed to vote for him. Go to newgrounds or youtube. You probably have already seen his videos and not even notice. Metal Gear Awesome?

Lol, I will be watching this if only for Egoraptor.
As much as I love EgoRaptor..it really seems like a waste to have him on the show, instead of someone else who might possibly need the job instead, especially since his real life stuff is no were near as funny as his cartoons.
I'll be rooting for Charles Weichselbaum (aka RealityPalez) He seems like the type of guy who would win.
I have to admit, I followed Egoraptor's request for voting him. The day after. The day after. the day after. The day after. And…the day after.
But where is Jack from 4PlayerPodcast? Could of sworn he got 2nd most votes.
