Survive The Dead Island Bloodbath Arena Next Week

Anything called "Bloodbath Arena" is bound to get people's attention, even if it did suffer a small delay.

The first piece of downloadable content for Techland's zombie-slayin' extravaganza, Dead Island , was delayed last month. But we've received word that it has a new release date.

The Bloodbath Arena expansion will be available on November 22 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. If you have the special Pre-Order Edition of the game, you get it for free; if not, you'll have to fork over $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points). The extra content will feature both single-player and multiplayer challenges in four areas. Waves of zombies will continue to bear down on you, and you'll just have to stay alive…somehow. Ah, blowing away hordes of zombies just never gets old, does it?

Oh, and don't forget to try out the new Brain Wave Bomb, which just sounds completely wacky. Lastly, don't forget that as added incentive, any experience you gain and items you earn when playing the Bloodbath Arena will transfer over to the campaign mode. Sweet!
