Ben-Dutka2K Sports announced today they've shipped NHL 2K7 to stores all across the U.S., and this budget title (it's priced at $19.99) could be just the ticket for you hockey fanatics.
The game is skating in with some new features; most notably, the relatively innovative new camera angles that should add fluidity to player animations and greater realism to the gameplay. Furthermore, the ProControl System has returned, which will give gamers a ton of defensive tools by utilizing Pressure Control. 2K7 also sports online play that includes leagues, buddy list management, and full stat-tracking. So for all you onliners out there, there's currently no better hockey option.
San Jose Sharks center and Hart Memorial Trophy winner Joe Thornton graces the cover, and the game is also available for the Xbox for the same budget price. Of course, for those of you already in the next-gen, you can pick up NHL 2K7 for the Xbox 360, but for the standard price of $59.99. It will be available for the PS3 some time this holiday season.
