May Sales Leaders

It's been a slow week for news. So here's some sales data from May!

The NPD Group released its retail tallies for the month of May today. The results suggest that gamers of all types spent a ton of money throughout the month, buying games for a variety of systems.

Perhaps the most interesting tidbits concern God of War and Nintendo's Brain Age for the DS. NPD ranks their list by total dollar value, and those games are 14th and 15th on the list, even though they retail for half of what the other games do (and thus need to sell twice as many to achieve the same ranking).
