Frank-ProvoGood news for fans of good games–Ubisoft has announced that it will release the third installment in the Ape Escape series this October.
The last two Ape Escape games were traditional 3D action games. Ape Escape: Pumped & Primed, as it's being called, is setup as a tournament-style sports marathon. Spike, Natalie, Casi, and the Professor are back, and this time they've decided to enter a high tech sports tournament. Set in a computer-generated world, odd things start happening when mysterious monkeys start to appear, along with archenemy Specter from Ape Escape 2.

Frankly, we don't know what to think, but the previous Ape Escape games were pretty darn good–so we have high hopes for this one.
