PlayStation Underground Tests Out Some Truly Freaky Titles

Gotta love that PlayStation Underground is back.

And in their latest episode, they're going with a Halloween theme and tackling several new games that are bound to make you shrink in fear. Well, ideally.

The team samples no fewer than four "Halloween-friendly games: The first-person, well-received freak-fest that is SOMA , the spooky strategy title Ray's the Dead , the no-holds-barred multiplayer title Extreme Exorcism , and the totally unnerving Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon . If you're wondering, both Extreme Exorcism and SOMA are nurrently available on PlayStation 4.

Check out the crew's experience with the four games below, and don't forget that Sony has launched a "SHOCKTOBER" promotion for PlayStation Now subscribers as well.

Shuhei Yoshida Shows Off His Platinum Trophy Bloodborne Skillz

You may have already seen this over on the PlayStation Blog but just in case:

In the latest episode of PlayStation Underground, Sony President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida shows off his Bloodborne skills, and it's pretty cool to watch.

Yoshida has loved the game since From Software's gem launched in March; here, he faces down a high-level Chalice Dungeon without blinking an eye, and he relates his favorite weapons to use against flaming hell beasts. And did you know that he earned the Platinum Trophy? Did you get this maximum reward in the game?

For me, it's just fun to see top-tier executives having a blast with the products they produce and promote. Gotta love it to effectively promote it…? Maybe not but it probably helps.
