Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Likely Headed To Vita

It took less than four hours for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to hit its original funding target.

Since then, the Kickstarter project has accumulated over $3 million from over 38,000 backers, and there's still plenty of time; the campaign closes on June 12.

The $3 million mark means Koji "IGA" Igarashi's vision will come to Wii U and at $3.5 million – which seems like an inevitability – it'll release for PlayStation Vita. It looks like we'll also get asynchronous online multiplayer (at $3.25 million), which will let players "borrow" a buddy's character stats, and also let us see other players' ghost data.

If the Vita version becomes a reality, it'll be developed by Armature Studio; the team is already set to create the Wii U version. Armature has produced plenty of top-quality ports, including Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection . As for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions, they'll be handled by Inti Creates.

So happy to see this project get so much support!
