When I said the world needed more PlayStation Vita games, this isn't quite what I meant.
But hey, it could be a huge seller. Today, Sony has announced PlayStation Vita Pets , which isn't your "ordinary pet game." It's scheduled to launch on June 3.
Developed by Spiral House ( EyePet , EyePet Adventures ), this game lets you choose from four different puppies (sorry, cat fans), and each puppy has his or her own personality, character traits and sense of humor. Once you've selected your canine buddy, you'll set off on an adventure across a fantasy world called Castlewood Island. The goal? To discover the "long lost legend of a king and his dog."
And yes, your puppy is fully customizable. You can dress him up, play with him, train him, and even bathe him. There are even puzzles to solve along with mystical locations like graveyards and mines. The puppy will need the necessary skills to complete the game's puzzles, so you can't just ignore the training part if you wish to succeed. Your four-legged friend will have to crawl, pull, dig and jump his way forward!
Well, puppies do sell.

I have a real dog.
I have 3, real dogs = awesome, digital dogs = meh.
Considering how well Nintendogs and Nintencats does for Nintendo, this could possibly sell more Vitas for the younger demographic. Not to mention this is a game with an adventure instead of just taking care of your virtual pets.
Lame..Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Sony is definitely upping it's game for the hardcore gamers with this little number..
But yeah, I'll go pay attention to my real huskies instead of a digital one…
I don't see this selling a lot, but who knows?
Seriously I'd buy this. Can be funny & lighthearted
