Who wants a brawler with a unique twist?
Mediatonic has revealed that the side-scrolling brawler Foul Play is on the way to the PlayStation 4 and Vita; the PS4 iteration will enjoy 1080p high-definition visuals and a super smooth 60 frames per second.
Players assume the role of Baron Dashforth ( such a great name), who takes down demons and then tells the tale in front of a live audience. During the retelling of his grand heroics, he must also defeat waves of extras who continually want to steal his thunder. Instead of the standard health bar, the game gauges the audience's interest in Dashforth's performance; if he takes too many hits, the crowd gets bored and the curtain falls. Don't forget that you can play co-op, too!
Foul Play released for PC and Xbox 360 last September, before hitting Mac and Linux the following month. We don't have dates for the PS4 and Vita versions, but here's hoping they arrive soon.
