Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Vita Can Control PS3 Version

Okay, some avid fighting fan out there is going to have to explain how this will work…got the fastest fingers in the west?

Capcom has released some new Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 media for the PlayStation Vita and in so doing, they revealed that you'll be able to actually use the Vita as an "Ultimate Controller" for the PS3 version.

So presumably, this means we can use the touch function of the Vita to play this insanely fast fighting game. …is that possible? You know, we really have to get our hands on a Vita to understand the precision and responsiveness of the front and rear touchpads, so maybe we shouldn't pass judgment right now. Also, don't forget that the Vita version of the game will boast "exclusive Gold Herald" color options for the fighters. Fun glittery skin.

UMvC3 launches on February 15 along with the Vita's week-early "First Edition" hardware promotion. Of course, you can always wait and grab it on the 22nd; we're sure you'll be able to find a copy.

wonder if R3 has it, id be so cool to be able to play that on the vita!
wish you could hook up the vita to your TV, would be so much better playing burning skies on a proper TV….

this is what i was hoping for since the vita was announced. I can just imagine what all you're going to be able to do. Say like in a batman game, you could raise the vita up towards the tv screen and use it as a sort of detective device or like in heavy rain. I'm sure you all get my point. The possibilities are endless for what you could do using the vita as a controller. Now i really nthink this is a step in the right direction for sure. Love your comment highlander. Thats the exact thing i thought when i read through this article.
