Maybe this will entice gamers to finally spring for Sony's slick portable. It's worth owning!
As revealed over at the Euro PlayStation Blog , those who purchase a PlayStation Vita before the end of the year will be treated to a free month of PlayStation Plus.
You just have to link your Vita system to your SEN account by December 31, 2013. If you're already a Plus member, you will receive an additional month on top of your current subscription. If your country is eligible for this promotion, you'll find it listed at the end of that blog post. There's an added bonus, too: If you pick up that Vita, you'll not only land an extra month of Plus, you'll also receive information on a competition for a PlayStation 4! Don't forget that the PS4 isn't out yet in Europe; it's set to launch on November 29.
Anything Sony can do to help push Vitas is probably a good idea. Don't want that system to prematurely fizzle out.
But if you have a subscription, do they just wait longer to bill you?
They are really pushing Plus, I like Plus, but that is a terrible incentive to get a Vita.
well new zealand is in there so if i do get a vita for christmas then i'll be in for free plus and maybe an extra ps4
happy gaming =)
Hahaha, " Don't want that system to prematurely fizzle out.", a bit late for that I would think.
Anyways, this deal is meh at best, I guess if you already planned on getting a Vita, then a nice bonus, but I doubt many will go out of their way for a free month of PSN and a chance to win a PS4.
Price drop and a couple must own games will go a long way to digging the Vita out of the deep hole it's in.
I'm not really sure I'm really interested in the ps vita, I already have a years subscription with ps plus anyway.
Do you really, seriously and honestly believe it's worth owning?
