The PSP was home to a great many JRPGs. So, let's see some more for the PlayStation Vita!
Here's one: It's Ys: Memories of Calceta , which was fully revealed and dated over at the PlayStation Blog . The new Silver Anniversary Edition will launch on November 26.
This is the latest installment in Nihon Falcom's 25-year-old RPG series, and it represents a "complete reimagining" of the IP's legendary fourth entry. Interestingly enough, Ys IV has been published in Japan three times already, and each was developed independently by a different company. But despite all that attention, Falcom never created their own version of the game.
That is, until now. It's not a remake; the story is brand new and the land of Calceta has been greatly expanded. In fact, the overworld is so massive now that "you could easily fit the combined worlds of every other Ys title to date inside it…several times over, at that."
JRPG fans should really appreciate this. Check it out:

Dang, too bad it won't be on PS3, looks pretty fun.
Get a damned Vita, Weeerld.
Gimme money!
Seriously though, I have no need for a handheld, when I'm out I'm busy and when I'm home I got a big screen.
Super stoked. Got my Silver Anniversary order on lock.
Never played the games but I can already feel it's magic. It comes from the times of my greatest RPG adventures.
Can you remove the over sized character portraits that appear during the dialogue sequences?
I've never played a Ys game before, but I got the Silver Anniversary Edition pre-ordered. So excited. >.<
Yesssss! :3 I've played one of the Ys games before (Ys Origin if I remember correctly), and had a lot of fun with it.
This game is sure to scratch my jrpg itch 🙂
