'whew' Made it!
It was close, but Keiji Inafune's Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter campaign has earned enough money to come to all the major consoles, as well as the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS. Handheld old-school fun!
The campaign needed to earn $3.5 million and it passed that mark with only two hours remaining. The final total is $3,845,048 from 67,222 backers, which means the anticipated action platformer will be coming to the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS4, Xbox One, Vita and 3DS, so you'll be able to play it no matter what ya got! This is described as Japanese side-scrolling goodness with an evolved style, and who better than Inafune to make it? The Mega Man creator is revered by many, despite his insistence to speak out about the ailing Japanese game industry.
This is the kind of game that could be great on the go, so I can't wait to give it a try on the Vita.
