Free Patch Will Bring Invasion Mode To Rayman Legends Vita

If you picked up the PlayStation Vita version of Rayman Legends this week, you may have noticed something was missing.

The Invasion Mode levels weren't included in the game, and Ubisoft says this was due to a longer-than-anticipated development time. Thankfully, however, the company has just confirmed that those missing levels will be added via patch. Here's what communications manager Gary Steinman had to say:

"Due to a longer development time than expected, we couldn't initially include the Invasion Mode–essentially, a second take on existing Rayman Legends maps–in the Vita version of the game. However, we can confirm that the Invasion Mode will be added via a free patch, at a later date."

The Invasion Mode was featured in the console iterations of the well-received game, but at least they're coming to the Vita free of charge. For the record, Rayman Legends will launch in the UK on September 13 and if you're a fan of challenging, ceaselessly creative platforms, you have to get it. At the very least, it's a positive addition to an ailing Vita library.

Glad to hear it will be free.I really enjoyed Origins on the Vita and this game is just awesome on it. If I had known that the levels were missing before I purchased the game, I'd still get it on the Vita.
