Update: Bungie has confirmed with IGN that this rumor is false. Bummer.
Original Story:
We know Bungie's Destiny is coming to the PS4 and PS3, but is another PlayStation platform involved…? Seems feasible.
According to Gaming Vlog Network , a leaked image may support the idea that a version of Destiny will actually hit the PlayStation Vita in 2014.
You can see the image in question through the link; it shows the title "Destiny of Spirits" with the tagline, "Unlock the Origin." There are also logos for Activision, Bungie, and PS Vita. As it turns out, this title was patented over a month ago, so maybe this is the real deal. Neither Activision nor Bungie has said anything about a portable iteration of their upcoming project, but it could be a great addition to the Vita's library.
Of course, it will probably have to be an altered version, as Destiny is rumored to be pretty damn massive; a MMOFPS of sorts. Perhaps a spin-off on the Vita will provide more in the way of background and story, or maybe it'll even boast very different gameplay. Who knows? It's interesting, at any rate, and potentially great news for Vita owners.
Related Game(s): Destiny
Anybody else skeptical that Destiny has a shot at becoming a big deal?
Halo guys will probably eat that right up. Not so sure about everyone else. New generation of games coming, people want something different. Activision has nearly milked COD dry and I think gamers are ready for something new. Bungie has the tools to offer that.
As for myself, no thanks. Granted, I know very little about the game, but all I need to know is that it's another Sci-Fi FPS…yay…we need more of those…

Too bad it is fake. It is a Sony game as far as we know.
Like sawao_yamanaka said, it's fake. Sorry Ben.
"Responding to an image circulating the internet that shows a âDestiny of Spiritsâ logo including Destiny imagery, Bungie confirmed to IGN that the image is fake and — responding to an old Bungie logo at the bottom — told IGN âwhen we actually announce something, weâll use our current logo."
The image (via PSU) appears to have been created in response to a trademark filed by Sony last month for Destiny of Spirits, though that title — if it ever sees the light of day — is owned by Sony and not affiliated with Bungie.
Destiny, meanwhile, will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 next year. For much more on Destiny, see the new details Bungie revealed last week and expect much more info to come at this yearâs E3 in June."
Again, I don't like to copy and paste, but let's stop rumors from spreading.
kinda defeats the purpose no?
the whole point of the vita is gaming on the go, go means no WIFI, which means no MMOs!
only time you would be able to play this is when your at home, which means you have access to a console.
why play the vita version of a game when you can play the much bigger better console version?
