PlayStation Vita sales have been slower than expected since its launch. But maybe that just means there are a whole lot of consumers just waiting in the wings to pick one up…
A recent Famitsu questionnaire has demonstrated that in fact, there might be plenty of future Vita purchasers.
In terms of devices they were most looking to buy in 2013, Sony's portable topped the list at 64%. It actually outstripped the second place unit, the Nintendo 3DS, by a hefty margin; the latter came in at 48%, while the Wii U was third with 34%. Of course, it's important to recognize just how few people in Japan own the Vita as opposed to the 3DS, so of course there would be more individuals interested in picking up the Vita, right? But then again, if they just weren't intrigued at all, they wouldn't have voted, so that's a good sign.
