It could be one of the most entertaining games you ever take on the go.
Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi has just announced a PlayStation Vita port of Dead or Alive 5 ; the new handheld iteration is dubbed Dead or Alive 5 Plus and is slated to arrive in early 2013. Hayashi also revealed an update for the currently available console versions of the invigorating fighter.
It's interesting to note that this news was made official on the IGN Pro League YouTube Channel, and that's because DoA5 will be added to the IPL's stable of e-sports titles. Starting next year, tournaments will be held to determine the best fighters around; Tecmo's fighter joins titles like League of Legends and Starcraft 2 . If you want to learn more about DoA5, check out our in-depth review , which should tell you everything you wish to know. Putting a revamped version on the Vita is probably a good move, right?

Not interested, but will be waiting for that patch and all the dlc in a bundle.
I'll probably play this game now. Dope.
Is he at a zoo or something?
Anyway, that's good I guess unless you don't want Vita to be a port system.
Hayasashi is a rare and dangerous species. And please dont feed him.
=p
Waiting for them to announce a tilt and shake feature, as well as obvious use of front and rear touch panels before I place my preorder.
shake it like a polaroid pitcha!
Hayashi-san, aka "snowman", and his team are a talented group. I miss Itagaki-san, development cycles are shorter these days, and publishers have become more picky about what they fund. Still, they've got young blood. I've long since left fighters, but I'll keep an out for their stuff.
Awesome. I want. I want even though Tekken 5 on psp made me feel like I was developing carpal tunnel.
It'll be nice to have a copy of this game to take with me on the go. I love fighting games and I think they work quite well on the Vita. Mortal Kombat and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale are great, I expect this will be as well.
This will be the version I get, I hope they throw in cross play as well.
