If you're a proud PlayStation Vita owner and you require more software, you should definitely check the PlayStation Store next week.
As revealed during the Thanksgiving PlayStation Blogcast , a whole bunch of Vita titles will soon receive attractive discounts. The deals hit on November 27, the time of the PSN's next update.
There are plenty of worthwhile games to consider. Wipeout 2048 , MLB 12: The Show , Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational , Little Deviants , Reality Fighters , and ModNation Racers will all fall to only $17.99. Resistance: Burning Skies , Unit 13 , and Smart As will be priced at $26.99, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss can be had for $35.99. Personally, I'd recommend several of those, especially Uncharted , Wipeout , and Hot Shots . The latter is just so much fun; for those craving the classic HSG experience, you get it in World Invitational .
Might as well save what you can, right?
So far the only game for Vita I'd want to play is Gravity Rush.
That's cool, but there are so many games that might surprise you. Also Soul Sacrifice will be out in a few months and that looks special! I am still praying for Borderlands 2!
I'd think I'd rather have a borderlands spin off.
That would be cool too! If they did a new adventure I would be all for that. I think they are looking at Borderlands 2 because it's an easy cash grab.
Gravity Rush is probably my favourite Vita game so far. But Rayman is a close 2nd, that game is platforming gold. Also, Hotshots is always fun.
If you're a Plus member you should get one of the 199 Vita bundles on this weekend. You get Gravity Rush for free on Plus right now.
Besides reality fighters the discounts are welcomed on the rest. I have too many games on the vita already :p. Just started wipeout, from +, and I am enjoying it more than the ps3 version. The load times are pretty bad though. Kinda wish they would have worked better on the patch to speed it up.
I agree Wipeout is excellent with bad load times. Plus saved me as I was able to transfer my saves to the cloud and delete games I have already Platinum and won't be playing any time soon. Just started playing PSASBR and it's a lot of fun! Played the Sine Mora demo and that was great!
You're right about sine mora, that game is so much fun. Right now the two games I'm playing constantly are all stars and sine mora. I am actually preferring all stars on the vita too. I think it is better as a portable game since I take it everywhere with me.
Me too, really loving All Stars on the Vita. I beat All Stars last night on Legend/Medium difficulty with Nathan Drake. It was a lot of fun. I am honestly not enjoying the cut scenes though. Looks like they were crunched for time and couldn't do fully animated scenes. Oh well, the rest of the game is very well done.
I am not very good with Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat style move controls. I can get it done, but I make mistakes often. All Stars controls are awesome! I rarely make a mistake and what ever move I want to do it's easy to pull off. I am sure there are some moves I haven't even done yet.
Having to build up power to teir 1, 2 or 3 is an amazing idea as well! You have to beat the crap out of each other to finish each other off! I really like this idea and it's implemented well.
I downloaded on the Vita last night and went to try it out. 2 hours later I looked up at the clock and it was 1am! Off to bed after beating the game. The final boss was good not great. A fantastic experience and I am going to give Sweet Tooth a try today.
Yea I agree with those few drawbacks. I think polygon man is funny but as a main boss he is pretty weak. Did you play on all-star with drake yet? Holy crap I had such a hard time with sly. He has been the only hard story mode to beat, not that drake is a bad player but that sly is very cheap during the rival fight. He was the only one I had a problem with during the whole story mode. My favorite characters I would say are: ratchet, toro, raiden, Dante, and spike. I can't wait when they release dlc for this game.
Same thing happened with me. I said to myself "I'm only gonna play an hour". 5 hours later I was still playing and not wanting to put it down lol.
I just got a few of those free from PS plus, so the deals aren't really doing anything for me, I'd want the golf game, but it's been 17.99 lately on amazon and I think I'd rather have the hard copy so I can save some space on my memory stick.

Just downloaded Sine Mora. Pretty good for a discount game. Graphics are cool.
Getting backed up on the Vita now. Too much to play and too little time.
I've been loving Sine Mora. Man is it a challenge though. A definite good add to my collection.

why does it always have to be launch titles?
most people already have the launch titles because there were not many games to buy for their new system.
why not discount liberation, gravity daze, PSP games, PS1 games, liberation, declasified, you know games 99.999999999999999999% of vita owners dont already own!

Nothing worth buying for me. They need to be cheaper for the digital prices. This is a pretty weak sale in my opinion.
I'm hoping these prices will be seen at retail and not only the PSN store. With the size of some of these games and the cost of Vita memory cards, digital downloads off the PSN store are no bargain.
For example, Uncharted: Golden Abyss will be discounted to $35.99 (from $39.99) and comes in at around 3.5 GB. Yet a 4 GB Vita memory card retails for $20? Not much of a deal.
I think the single biggest thing Sony could do to help the Vita is cut Vita memory prices by at least half. Even then they'd still be more expensive than Micro SD cards.
They have pretty good sales on games at retail. Sadly the psn can't compare to those actual sales.
I actually have my eye on Smart As. Came out at the end of October. The PSN store has it as being (surprisingly) 2.2 GB, so I'd prefer the cartridge. Haven't seen any sales on it at retail yet. I'll probably just ask for it for Christmas. I've been looking for a good puzzle/brain teaser type game for the Vita and hoping this fits the bill.
I am looking for smart as on retail as well but so far no sale on it yet. Smart As is a huge size considering that it is a psn game. I found the demo very fun. Reminded me of brain age on the DS. I'll look around for sales on it. Also check online at cheapassgamer they tend to always update with sales if that helps :).
Thanks, but I didn't really expect any deals just yet. I still plan on asking for it for Christmas…if that falls through there's always Boxing Day!
I am looking for Ninja Gaiden, Zero Escape, New Little King's Story, Dokuro, MVC3, SVTekken and Silent Hill Book of Memories to get a discount or free PS+ treatment. I still haven't played the new generation of Ninja Gaiden. Played the NES versions and they were TOUGH!
The new ones are even tougher lol. Both dokuro and little kings story are awesome games. I kinda wished I would have waited for a discount on little kings story though. Although it is very addicting it is still a little too much. 20 would have been perfect for it.

If you're a plus member you can get Uncharted GA for free along with GR Wipeout and some others it's part of the instant game collection
Yes, just as THEVERDIN mentions, I just noticed Uncharted Golden Abyss on the PS Store as FREE for Plus members. That's the easiest download on there for Vita owners right now. 🙂
Also, I have had MLB The Show since it came out and it is AWESOME for the Vita. I play it on my lunch breaks, do the fantasy draft on it, play seasons on it, trying to build the best team possible. Besides loving baseball, the MLB the Show series has always been awesome to me in that you can adjust the sliders on it to make it perfectly challenging for you as well as very realistic. Also being able to upload the seasons to the PS3, I can play this awesome game anywhere. 🙂

Uncharted: GA is NOT a good deal at $35.99. It can be bought for $30(or less) used at GameStop.
