By now, you've probably heard of that nasty – and annoying – save corruption bug in Assassin's Creed III: Liberation .
Basically, it totally messes with your save file(s) in the game, and that's obviously a pretty huge problem 'cuz the adventure is quite lengthy. However, the good news is that according to Joystiq , Ubisoft is currently working on a fix-it patch. Let's hope it arrives soon!
There are quite a few irked gamers out there who experienced the save corruption problem when playing the anticipated Vita title. Even though we're not entirely sure when to expect the update, at least we know it's coming:
"Our team is in the process of finalizing the first patch for Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation. This will address the save game corruption issue that you asked about [previously]. We'll have a better idea on the timing of the patch soon."
Maybe when they do, you won't be so frightened to purchase the game. And if you're a Vita owner, despite the fact that Liberation didn't quite blow us away, it's still well worth playing. You should definitely give it a shot, or at least read more about it in our review .
