Remember that rumor about some odd card-based game set in the Uncharted universe? Well, it has become a reality.
As confirmed over at the PlayStation Blog , Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is indeed a card-based adventure featuring well-known characters from the award winning franchise. It's coming to the PlayStation Vita on December 4 for the agreeable price of only $4.99.
The trailer below shows off the gameplay, which involves "creating a team of Faction cards" featuring the various characters, and then using that assembled team to defeat your opponent. You'll also have to defend yourself against incoming attacks, much like other card-based games. Each Faction card can be equipped with Resource and Fortune cards, which boost stats and grant special abilities. It seems like a cool idea and big fans of the series could really get hooked.

I'm actually surprised its a Magic the Gathering type card game. I was expecting a poker game or something. Looks neat!
For $4.99 its a insta buy.

O_O
Well, I love Uncharted GA and have the Platinum. However, this isn't my bag. I hope it does well and gamers that are into it have a great time. I am looking for another Uncharted on the Vita but not like this.
Ok I guess this might be one of the moments where I am accused of taking the opposite stance as everyone else for the heck of it, but seriously: If me and my friends had a Vita, I'd most likely buy this.
If there is one thing mobile gaming has made me really discover these days, it is the beauty of async/turn-based multiplayer gaming. It's great fun!
One question: why?
No matter how good this game looks, I won't be getting it because of that ridiculous multiplayer by mail system they have implemented.
Anyone who's played Chess on the Vita will appreciate how retarded that system of MP is.
I've been playing a game of Chess for about a month now with Bens bro and I think we've just given up tbh.
Honestly, if you're planning on playing this with friends, this should be a serious consideration.
why?
sigh.
looks like $ony are STILL under the impression that their nintendo!
oh well, i guess you cant teach a old dog new tricks.
