Sometimes, our Canadian friends need a little love, too.
As announced over at the PlayStation Blog , the PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi model will be available on October 2. They've even got a great bundle package to entice consumers.
It will consist of the slick portable unit plus two download vouchers, one for Gravity Rush and the other for Unit 13 . You're basically getting them for free, as the bundle will only retail for $299, which is the cost of the 3G Vita by itself. Vita systems with an active Rogers data package will be able to use software functionality specifically designed for the 3G-enabled model. As for the games in question, Unit 13 is a competent and entertaining third-person shooter, while Gravity Rush is one of the best games for the Vita in our estimation.
Okay, Canadian gamers, now you've got everything you need to join the handheld revolution in October.
How much are Vita games usually?
The vita games are priced $29.99-$49.99
Eh.. I'd still need a price drop before I consider a Vita. Being a student really gets in the way of my gaming.
Minnesota says hellooooo up there!
Hey World!
I would love me a mini-soda!
Although, from where I am, in Canada, I'd have to say hello up there to you!
Come on up the weather's fine 🙂
Hellooo back!
I'm holding out for the AC3: Liberation/Vita bundle. It should be good with the two analog's. Bloodlines on PSP was way too tough to control with only one analog.

I think it would be more important if Sony would have added at least a 4 gig memory card into all their bundles, just to get you started off.
Thanks for the Canada news tip, btw Ben. Much appreciated.
I'm glad we're getting the option… but I've already got my WiFi Vita, and I don't really see the point of a 3G model to begin with. I get 5Gb of data on my phone, and my phone can broadcast a wifi signal so… what's the point?
I used to pine for Canadian news, but then I got an article in the knee. Oh god someone shoot me now…WHAT HAVE I DONE?!
Here in Canada I got my PS vita a week before its initial release and there is NO way I will be ditching my wifi model for a 3G model. Rogers is not getting any more money from me.
how much will the PS4 really cost? It sounds like it should go for at least $800-$1000. If its stronger than a pc, it should probably cost as much at least. I mean, an iphone alone costs $500 unlocked.
