More good stuff for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Network:
Sony has announced MotorStorm RC for both their new portable and the PSN; it's an obvious spin-off of the popular racing franchise and MotorStorm creators Evolution Studios are handling the development, so that's great news.
Featuring 16 different tracks across 4 familiar environments, this one should be lots of fun. We'll also see the vehicle types we've experimented with in past series installments, so fans should be satisfied. Which is your favorite?
The cool part is that the game adopts a "pay once, get both" philosophy. In other words, if you purchase either the PSN or Vita version, you'll be able to play it on either the portable unit or the PS3. Sweet, huh? Only the PS3 version will boast four-player split-screen mode, but most other features will be accessible in both versions.
MotorStorm RC will be ready to race in spring 2012.

Motorstorm went downhill after the last one. Why in the world did they decide to do this?
They gave up on the awesome physics and stuff.
Shame for me that's it's top-down mode.
Nnot sure why, but after playing them for 35+ years, I've grown soooo out of top-down mode games(& most side-scrollers too) the last 2 gaming gens.
Looks trippy as hell, but I'm guessing that the Vita version will be D/L only, ensuring that it can be played on both with only needing to pay once?
I keep meaning to get a motorstorm game… I've loved the demos of all three PS3 versions. Just never gotten around to it. Don't think I'm going to break that tradition now.

sigh, what is it with developers this gen and ruining awesome games with the top down view?
renegade ops, GTA chinatown wars and this for instance.
renegade ops is such a cool game, but i refuse to buy it because i HATE top down view!
I love this dev so I will wait for the demo before I pass judgement. I read that this is being developed by a small Evolution team. It has been in development for 1 year so far. I am guessing that the next true installment for Motorstorm is in development right now for the PS4.
Being a Motorstorm fan, I can't say this RC take on the series has me very enthused.

actually looks pretty fun!
But what i want to know is, can I play the psv and psn versions at the same time?
but to "look SIGNIFICANTLY better than we have best on the ps3, say Uncharted 2/3" is hard, at least I do not know what that can be and nothing I have heard of is close to that claim. said before, unless we are close to phasing out the blu-ray media and the "Ultra HD TV" came out, we are not going to get anything so significantly better than we have now that warrants a whole new console.
