Sure, we've got LittleBigPlanet Karting coming to the PlayStation 3 later this year, but Vita fans need a little Sackboy love, too. And according to an update at the PlayStation Blog , the beta for the LBP iteration on Vita is on the way. If you're interested in participating, all you have to do is fill out a simple form, so head on over and get started . We still don't have an official start date for the beta test, but we're okay with the vague "soon" label…for now.
There's no doubt that LittleBigPlanet has been a hugely important franchise for the PlayStation brand this generation, and it certainly deserves a Vita installment. Can't wait!

I bought LBP, LBP2, a PS3 and a Vita…BUT I'm not a Plus subscriber. I hope they don't pass on me because of that.

I bought and played LBP, have a PS3 and Vita and am a Plus subscriber, but I never played LBP2, never created and shared a level, and never got all the trophies (or even close) in LBP. If I were to get in before someone in your position I would almost guarantee that it would be because of the PS+ membership and would be kind of upset about it.
i really hope this has the 2D switching from background to foreground LBP PSP had that was such a really cool idea!

Sweet. I got a Vita yesterday at Best Buy. It came with a choice of one of four games, I decided to get Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and a free 3 month PlayStation Plus subscription, making it an awesome deal. The deal ends before Sunday. 🙂
