The more games for the Vita, the better.
It's already available in Japan but thanks to XSEED Games, the popular and well-received action/RPG, Ragnorak Odyssey , will come to North American Vitas "later this year."
Developed by famed role-playing developer Game Arts ( Lunar , Grandia ), the game did pretty well in the Land of the Rising Sun. The setting is the Ragnorak Online universe where humans and giants do battle after the world's ancient Gods have fallen. Based on Norse mythology (as you might've guessed from the title), players will explore and discover new areas, all the while having fun with an "extremely versatile combat system." Said XSEED Executive Vice President Ken Berry:
"Ragnarok Odyssey is an amazing game that players have recognized through its position as one of the best-selling PS®Vita titles in Japan. To be able to offer this game, which has been the most requested title by our fans for some time now, is very rewarding and speaks to the level of quality we are committed to delivering to the players."
Yeah, this one could be great for the niche – albeit highly vocal – crowd. And seeing Game Arts makes me all sorts of nostalgic…their packaging was always so sweet. Basically, they forced you to buy a Collector's Edition of sorts but I never cared.

Grandia… come back please.
…and please curse the one who thumbed me down.
I'm with you on that. I would love to see Grandia make a return. I've loved every one of those games since the first one, even Xtreme. I still don't understand why that game caught so much flack.
Who the hell would thumbs down a Grandia post? I totally want a Grandia 4!

I'm amped for this. Been waiting for a solid action RPG for the Vita. This has made me excited to own a Vita again (as I've played the current games out that I want to already).
I'm looking forward to getting some rpg's for the vita. This news isn't enough for me to say I want this, but I'm definitely interested.
*looks around* yeah I think Vita will be the place that Japanese games continue their former PSP life on. Which means I have to get one eventually.
Tried the demo. Chose from one of several classes that all play virtually the same. Walk around and kill cutesy blobs for seemingly no reason at all.
Total snoozefest. Sorry!
With games like this, all the ps1 rpgs coming to Vita, and all the ps2 games that COULD infact be coming to Vita, and the ps3 rpgs that will come to vita, and the ones from the PSP and PSN network, I am in rpg heaven.
Right now I have over 10 rpgs on my Vita.
I'll be grabbing this one. I already have a bunch of PSP RPGs on my Vita, and the PS1 classics await compatibility…
There is a lot of Vita content coming, can't wait.
Hey, what happened to Grand Knights History and Brave Story:New Traveler?
