It's one of the more anticipated titles for the new PlayStation Vita, and we know it launched to critical acclaim in Japan on February 9.
Now, we also have a solidified North American date: as revealed at the PlayStation Blog , Gravity Rush will land on the PlayStation Vita on June 12; it'll be available as a digital download on the PSN and as a physical copy in game stores nationwide.
A futuristic universe is under attack from an unknown force. "Gravity Storms" are appearing and bizarre creatures are rampaging; it's up to a girl called Kat to restore order and peace. Kat awakes with the amazing ability to control gravity, and with it she will explore a "huge open world," exploring about "on any surface imaginable." It's a great concept and one that could be downright amazing on the Vita.
The Vita has plenty of great games on the horizon. Here's hoping this one meets the high expectations.
