Warner Bros. To Distribute The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt In The US

It's always good news when a great developer finds a solid, influential publisher.

CD Projekt Red has announced that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will distribute The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in North America. The game is currently in the works for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

CD Projekt Red president Adam Kicinski said the launch of the anticipated RPG is "the most important event" in the team's history, and he also called Warner Bros. an "extremely valuable partner." Kicinski called the US market "crucial" to success, which is probably true these days; remember when it was pretty much all about Japan? My, how times have changed. Anyway, this announcement may not come as any huge surprise, as WBIE also published The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition in the North American region.

We don't know about any PS4-specific features just yet, but we know the Xbox One version of Wild Hunt will boast SmartGlass support for inventory management and character development. Not sure how that will work out but personally, I don't really care. Just let me play the game.
