Get Ready For Some “High End” Toys For The Witcher 3

If you're a collector and you don't mind that everyone will call them "toys" (and they kinda are), you'll be psyched.

During the New York toy Fair, Dark Horse Deluxe revealed that it had teamed up with developer CD Projekt Red to deliver a new line of collectibles based on the award-winning action/RPG from 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt .

As reported by GameSpot , this new line has been described as "high-end" and will offer statues, busts and action figures, along with prop and jewelry replicas. First on the list will be figures for the main characters in the game; Geralt, Triss and Yennefer. Then we'll get figures for Ciri and Eredin. Each will be custom painted and retail for $30, which might be worth if you're a big fan of the game in question.

Said CD Projekt Red Business Manager Rafał Jaki:

"We are truly excited to bring the Witcher 3 characters to life. Wild Hunt fans requested figures of Geralt, Ciri, Yen, and other collectibles multiple times, and now, thanks to this cooperation, we're finally able to fulfill these requests without putting an arm and a leg on the price tag. I truly hope Witcher fans notice all the love and the excellent craftsmanship put into creating them!"

Here's an image of the Geralt figure; it's pretty damn sweet, isn't it? The Witcher 3 continued its streak of accolades in 2016, landing 8 DICE nominations and 4 GDC nominations . It also won our illustrious Game of the Year 2015 .
