Here's a reversal for you:
Early on in the previous generation, Xbox 360 was outdoing PlayStation 3 by about a 3:1 ratio. Granted, PS3 launched a year later but even after it had been out for about fourteen months, Xbox maintained a massive lead.
But oh, how things have changed. After PS4 sold 5.7 million over the 2015 holiday season, Sony announced the system was closing in on 36 million worldwide sales . Now, publisher Electronic Arts has estimated that the combined PS4/Xbox One global total was about 55 million at the end of last year. EA CFO Blake Jorgensen issued the number during an earnings report , and he added that overall stats were up when compared to the previous era:
"The console purchases are up through the end of calendar year '15. Our estimate is 55 million units out there which has exceeded virtually everyone's forecast for the year and is now almost 50 percent higher than previous console cycle so, all of that is very, very positive."
EA previously predicted combined console sales at the end of 2015 would hit 50-51 million, so they underestimated by a bit. And if the 55 million estimate is correct, that would put total Xbox One unit sales at around 19 million, which means PS4 still holds a hugely significant 2:1 edge in global sales (or close to it).
In a recent PSXE poll, we wanted to know if readers thought the console war is already over and the answer was a resounding "yes." Maybe it really is over. 2016 is bound to be huge for the console…
The fanboyism is alive and well in this article! Still happy people are realizing Sony makes a better product though.
And as it should be, seeing how this isn't a "Xbox" site. LOL

So saying what happened and is happening fanboyism now? Stating facts about how Xbox lead last gen by a lot then comparing it to this gen, emphasizing how it's a completely different story this time around is just a plain observation.
Fyi, fanboyism is pretty much having an Xbox break on you 13 times and still say it's the best console ever. That's actually something a person wrote on another site. Because fanboys are most of the time immune to the truth.
I'm not one to tell anybody to shut up but I'll make an exception for FM23. Just shut up. Please.
I haven't read anything in this piece that screams "Kick rocks, Xbox!"
