Rainbow Six Siege Resolution PS4 Tops Xbox One Version

Yep, another multiplatform game that simply performs just a bit better on Sony's platform.

As confirmed on the game's official website , the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege will hit 1080p on PlayStation 4, while it only manages 900p on Xbox One.

This is what we'll see with the open beta , which starts today and runs for the next four days (through November 29). It's the same resolution numbers they reported for the previously held closed beta, but Ubisoft reminds us that they're still pushing:

"We're still looking to push the hardware as much as possible in order to deliver a quality experience for players and will be able to share more about the final resolution once we're closer to release date."

For the PC version, the resolution varies between 720p and 1080p depending on your setup. Rainbow Six Siege , a tactical multiplayer-centric shooter, is set to release on December 1 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Are people still surprised about this? Are we the consumers expected to praise devs for their efforts? I want to hear when a newly released game doesn't require a day one patch or that it doesn't have game breaking bugs or very minor glitches. I want to see the difference in performance, let me see a split screen with a frame counter. Resolution don't mean sh*t if the game doesn't run equally on both platforms.
