Would Sony Tell Us If The Last Guardian Hit Another Snag?

For a while there, it seemed to be the epitome of the dreaded term "vaporware."

Years and years went by and not much was heard about the anticipated then-PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last Guardian . Finally, it reappeared at this year's E3 and everyone was happy again.

But as we move on into the holiday season and Sony has once again gone mostly silent concerning the project, one has to wonder: If the project has hit another development snag, would Sony tell us? Normally, I don't ask this question unless there's some history involved and in this case, there's most certainly a history of silence. For whatever reason(s), this appears to be the one project Sony is most reticent about, the one they seem least interested in hyping.

Now a PS4 exclusive, Guardian remains high on the priority list for a great many gamers, especially those who loved ICO and Shadow of the Colossus (I'm one of them). Now, most recently, Sony said they don't want to spoil too much of the story in The Last Guardian , so that's why we haven't heard much . And while understandable to a point, one can't help but notice similarities between now and then. Before, Sony really only popped up to say "it'll be ready when it's ready" and things of that nature. Doesn't it feel like we're close to seeing those very same comments again?

I don't know what the deal is with this game but its development remains a mystery to most. And Sony usually isn't this tight-lipped about their first-party projects, which is another reason to ask such questions. I just hope we'll see The Last Guardian again soon .

I think we should reserve judgement until after the psx event in December.

Honestly, I think it's gonna be fine. They showed a good build st e3 (or sometime year) I'm sure they're moving along just fine

They probably don't want to reveal too much of the story, because there isn't anything developed on that part of the game yet *trolololol*.

Kidding aside, I still have high hopes for this one. I'll only believe they hit a snag if any official announcement of it comes out.

DO people genuinely care anymore?

At this point, I'm anticipating an overhyped PS2 game on PS4.
