Ben-DutkaWhen we heard Insomniac was rebuilding the original Ratchet & Clank from the ground up for PlayStation 4, we were all sorts of excited.
And for good reason. The footage we've seen of the new project has been downright stunning and that goes double for the recently released trailer featuring Pokitaru (home of the galaxy's legendary vacation resort) along with fresh gameplay.
It was revealed over at the PlayStation Blog and fans of the franchise couldn't be happier. As the developers have said more than once, this isn't just the same 2002 title with prettier graphics; they're going out of their way to make it a much more robust production. Can't wait to dive back into the first Ratchet & Clank adventure!
This is one remake that I certainly won't mind buying for my collection, especially considering I never completed the first game way back in the PS2 days.

I wasn't really interested but now I am!
I was all about the Jak and Daxter over Ratchet and Clank. However this looks fantastic and I only played the first one on the PS3 and I actually liked it a lot. I hear a crack in time is amazing but I never got it for some reason.
I will definitely pick this game up.
