The movies didn't hit big but the video games sure did.
According to a new report in The Wall Street Journal , this year's Warner Bros. film productions flopped but their game offerings have done very well.
Both Batman: Arkham Knight and Mortal Kombat X have sold over 5 million units, making the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Studio a major source of income for the company. It also seems that LEGO Jurassic World managed to sell "about 4 million" but the article doesn't clarify if these numbers indicate actual sales or shipped stats.
Arkham Knight has the distinction of being the first 2015 title to land a 9+ score here at PSXE and MKX is easily one of the best fighting games of the year. So yeah, they probably deserve good numbers, right?
