Rainbow Six Siege Specs, No Campaign Mode Available

It has become pretty standard for current-gen multiplaform titles: 1080p on PlayStation 4 and 900p on Xbox One.

And according to a FAQ posted at the official Rainbow Six Siege website , those are the stats for the upcoming multiplayer-oriented military action game.

However, Ubisoft explains that these numbers are currently exhibited in the closed beta test; the final product might manage better:

"We're still looking to push the hardware as much as possible in order to deliver a quality experience for players and will be able to share more about the final resolution once we're closer to release date."

Additionally, art director Scott Mitchell confirmed during Europe's EGX event that there will be no "story mode per se" in the new Rainbow Six (as cited by WhatCulture ):

"There is no story mode per se. You go through training, where you get to experience different operators and their devices. You can play against enemy AI in co-op through all the maps. You can customize matches, so that's what we're offering on the single-player side of things."

If you wish to play the game solo, you can check out the "scenario-based missions" that will be similar to what you've seen in previous series entries. So that's something. As for that beta, it began on September 24 and will conclude on September 28; for more details and a trailer, click here .

Oh, and don't forget that all DLC maps will arrive free of charge. After a delay of a few months, Rainbow Six Siege is now set to release on December 1.

Not bothering to waste resources on something most of your main audience doesn't care much about. Honestly, probably a good thing.

No Campaign mode! May have to reconsider getting this…Wish there was a successor to S.W.A.T 4 at least that had a story mode.

really? This like games like battlefield and cod might aswell not have a singleplayer tbh and spend more time and money on the main attraction of the game. Games like this are primary all about mp.

Like some of the posters above, I am going to reconsider getting this game.

I loved the previous releases singleplayer offerings, so the custom games versus the AI better be spectacular, or I am going to pass.
