Ubisoft has provided us with a new trailer for the PS4-exclusive Assassin's Creed Syndicate content called The Dreadful Crimes Mission Pack. Check it out below.
This mini-expansion features 10 missions centered on the 19th-century Penny Dreadful pocket novels, which featured "sensationalized" crimes. During these missions, you see the events through the eyes of Artie, who works with the Penny Dreadful investigative journalist Henry Raymond to "explore the roots of this gruesome fad."
As for gameplay, you can choose to play as either Jacob or Evie Frye, and you'll visit places like the slums of Whitechapel (the infamous home to the Jack the Ripper slayings) and Buckingham Palace. Here's part of the DLC's official description:
"It's up to you to choose whom to interrogate and your deductive skills will be put to the test in determining how to proceed. Once you feel you have successfully identified the culprit, you can confront and accuse them, but beware… accusing the wrong suspect will result in a decreased reward!"
If you can finish these missions, you'll receive "unique in-game items utilized by iconic detectives of the day." The Dreadful Crimes DLC will be ready to go for PS4 owners on launch day, which is October 23. PC owners have to wait until November 19.
