Since the game's launch, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been suffering major server woes.
Players across all platforms have been saying the multiplayer FOB mode can't connect.
In response, Konami has been scrambling to resolve the issue for a couple days now and the latest update says all platforms are back to normal with the exception of PlayStation 4. The servers are still down for maintenance on Sony's new platform, which is bound to annoy a lot of you. The good news is you hardly need the online FOB option to enjoy this masterpiece of a game.
Can anybody remember the last time a major game didn't launch with at least some degree of failure on the multiplayer side? It seems to me that online multiplayer has become less stable and more problematic in the new generation.

FYI, if anyone manages to login and are experiencing long loading times just stay logged out. It cuts load times from 50 seconds down to like 4.
