Street Fighter V Beta Finally Returns

Looks like all those stress tests proved to be a success.

Not long after testing the servers in North America, Capcom has announced that the Street Fighter V beta is back on.

After being forced to shut down at the end of July due to widespread server issues, the beta will return this week: It will be a worldwide beta test that starts on August 28 at 4 p.m. PDT and runs through September 2, when it will end at 7 a.m. PDT. Said the publisher in a statement:

"Outside of the servers being shut down for periodic maintenance, we expect everything to run continuously throughout the entire five day beta period."

Capcom added that people might still encounter some connectivity issues and if it happens, check the game's server Twitter page for updates. Also, they recommend that you don't download files in the background when participating in the beta, and it might be better to use a wired Internet connection, as it's generally more stable than Wi-Fi.

If you want in, you just have to have pre-ordered the game. Street Fighter V is slated to launch next year but if you want to check it out early, feel free to dive in this week!
