Street Fighter V Beta Stress Tests Come To North America

Last week, Capcom said they'd be careful about rolling out the Street Fighter V beta again, this time beginning with region-specific stress tests .

At that time, we didn't know precisely when North American gamers would get a shot at these tests, as the first phase began in Europe. But now, thanks to a new Capcom-Unity blog post , we've got the times for North and South America:

The tests in question are supposed to take place between August 25 and 26 from 4 p.m. – 12 a.m. PDT. If these go well, Capcom will then give the beta another shot; they've already confirmed that the stress tests in Europe and Asia succeeded. Remember, this is only for PlayStation 4 owners.

Capcom did add the following disclaimer:

"Please note that although we anticipate these tests to run smoother than before, there may still be issues experienced by some users. All data received during each of the stress tests will help us improve the online experience moving forward, and we appreciate your understanding and support."

They further recommend using a wired connection as opposed to Wi-Fi, and make sure you're not trying to download something else in the background when participating in this stress test. Capcom tried to kick off the SFV beta at the end of July but as fighting fanatics well know, it didn't go well at all .
