Ready to drive some Japanese cars? Finally?
It went up first on the European PlayStation Store but it is now available here in North America: We've got the new DLC packs for Driveclub , which includes the RPM expansion that delivers the new RPM Tour and more cars.
These cars are totally bad-ass; we get the Nissan GT-R, Nissan 370Z Nismo, McLaren 570S, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 2015 and the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, all of which should be an absolute blast to drive. If you need help finding this package (and you really shouldn't), click here .
When Driveclub first launched, the lack of Japanese vehicles was indeed glaring. Granted, it took some time to fix but hey, they're here now. And don't forget that the game in question has come a long way since its rocky launch.

Downloaded the PS+ version. I can't but help compare it to GT. The fact that it's is no where near as good nor as charming coupled with the lack of Japense cars outside of DLC forces me to give this game two thumbs down. I'd give it more but I only have two hands.
driveclub is more of an arcade racer so comparing it to gran turismo, a simulator, just isnt the same. its more in the group of need for speed and such. the lack of japanese cars isnt a factor to me, the gt franchise has that if i wanted it. i remember playing arcade racers that just had generic names because of licensing issues and it was no problem. either way, the selection of cars was great. from what i played, driveclub is a good game, still havent gotten used to drifting yet but thats not really my driving style. i bought the game for around 20 new because i felt i needed to play a racer. if i was big into racing game, i wouldve bought this when it came out. game plays great and looks amazing. if it werent for those server issues, this game wouldve been up there with the other arcade racers.
Me likey, it's not cornball arcade but still intense.
Now we are talking!
I'm going to finally download this game today from PS+ and check it out.
What a joke only 2 jap cars! No thanks il wait for Need For Speed and Gran Turismo 7
Well then go play Gran Turismo….half the roster is Mazda and Nissan. Both Gran Turismo and Driveclub lack American cars, but it stands out more in Gran Turismo due to the car list size and no one seems to mention this problem
man those nissans that might just tempt me back a little but probably not still but those are sick cars
happy gaming
Do I gotta pay?
Yup. And if you only have the PS+ the DLC won't work unless you "upgrade" to the paid version.
