Iconic skateboarder Tony Hawk has tossed up a new Instagram video in honor of his new game. He tapped skater buddy Rob Wootton to assist and he even uses a song from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 .
Wootton acts out the "select your character" animations from previous franchise installments and he's pretty good. I think we all remember seeing such animations when selecting our character in those old games. Check it out:
The new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will launch later this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We don't have any details just yet, but we expect to learn more at E3.
I want a new skate. But I won't write this off till I see gameplay. I like that they're going back to the numbered series.
