Transfer Your Existing Saves To The New Borderlands Collection

If you want to import your saves from previous Borderlands titles into the upcoming new compilation, pay attention.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection launches next week and developer Gearbox Software has posted up instructions for transferring existing saves to the new version.

If you didn't know, the Collection includes remastered iterations of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel . If you played either or both of these games, you can use those saves and dive into the upgraded versions. Just remember that you can only migrate saves between consoles in the same family; i.e., PS3 to PS4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox One. Also, you'll have to download a patch for the two games in question that will enable cross-save functionality.

Then, just follow the steps listed at the link above. Easy.

Another 90+ hours going into Borderlands 2, and I'll get to further experience Borderlands TP-S. Can't wait.

Good idea for the fans. I'll pass though as I am not a fan. I played through the original and the B2 games, but for me there is no replay value. The second game was definitely better than the first. Less bland. Had it share of bugs (no pun there). They are very repetitive at most times with a disappointing ending. Bosses were easy to kill. I found it strange the lead up to the ends were tougher than the actual boss batteles. Overall I had to push myself just to get the games over with.

Just a note, I bought the first one cheap and the second one was a free digital download.

Glad they are thinking of the fans though, but I am giving the updated series a miss. If I was repetitiveness and still enjoy myself I will wait for a possible HD version of AC series, which will never happen, but one should never say never in this industry.

Keep playing!

I'll be getting this eventually. I wonder though, have they finally implemented skippable cut scenes in this edition? (BL2, not sure if TPS had skippable scenes as I haven't had a chance to play it)
