This is a big oops on the part of the developer.
As you can see on Team Ninja's Twitter page , there's a crazy game-busting bug in the recently released Dead or Alive 5: Last Round .
Thankfully, it only seems to affect the German, Spanish, French and Italian versions of the game; the English, Japanese and traditional Chinese versions should be fine. But here's the warning from the designers:
This bug is severe enough to cause the game to freeze and it can even corrupt save data. We don't like to see such massive bugs in games but hey, it happens. On the flip side, because the bug is found in a Tutorial mode, usually undertaken by those first starting the game, losing your save data wouldn't be a catastrophe for most players.
Even so, it obviously needs to be fixed and Team Ninja says they're working on it.

I wish they'd at least fix the button prompt problem.
Whenever the game prompts you to push the option button it actually means the touchpad button.
Why does it ask to bring in your data from PS3 if it won't work?
They didn't make this well known and I missed it at first.
From the PS3 game of DOA5 ultimate you go to settings and push like the square button or something. It'll ask you if you'd like to upload your PS3 save file. Do that.
On your ps4 if you already have made a save file I think you have to go manually delete that and then reboot the game. The game will then prompt you to import the save file.
Hopefully that helps.
Here's another way to lose your saved games…..
In Destiny.

Pffft. That's just crazy. What a douche.
Throwdowns caused my Xbox One digital version to crash hard every one or two matches. Been fine after I shut them off.
lol @xbo
well having save game fixes is certainly worth a patch
happy gaming
What I don't get is it asked to import my PS3 save game. It doesn't make a save game, it just saves system data. I put that on PSPlus but it did nothing. So I couldn't import anything. Pissed me off.
No excuse for this shite, fix your crap up or don't release the game until it's ready. Simple.
Consumers give these guys money and what do we get in return? Game breaking glitches. Unacceptable. Most people have already bought their games twice and yet they're still getting dragged around by a clumsy dev team.
