We didn't really get a ton of huge surprises but nevertheless, Sony followers were plenty content with the PlayStation Experience.
In our latest poll, we asked our readers what they thought of Sony's year-end show, during which they showed off some great Uncharted 4: A Thief's End , Bloodborne , and The Order: 1886 footage and made some exciting announcements.
It was lacking in the big world-ending shockers, though. Neither Guerrilla games nor Quantic Dream revealed their projects, and we didn't hear anything about a new God of War or Gran Turismo . But that obviously didn't disappoint the readers too badly, as the majority said it was an awesome show, while most other participants said it was good, albeit not "earth-shattering." I still really wanted to see The Last Guardian but whatever.
This week, we want your take on the Call of Duty franchise. According to a recent industry report , despite the positive reaction to this year's Advanced Warfare , the numbers continue to decline on an annual basis. But do you think the new entry is good enough to bring CoD back? Or will the decline continue…?
It was decent, I enjoyed it , mind you the only thing I really cared for at the event was Uncharted 4. If anything The Game Awards won me over due to the fantastic Metal Gear Online(3) trailer – But the only thing that could have equaled that for me was a Final Fantasy XV announcement, not the laughable Final Fantasy VII announcement – Apparently S-E want to put more FF games on the PS4 PS Store like that… I'd be content with a HD version of VIII, IX & XII.

A dude at the event almost leaked God Of War 4.
And it looks good but evidently that's not enough. COD won't disappear though.
I call BS.
It's hard to measure a franchise's decline at the turn of a new generation. That being said, I think CoD won't be the monster must-own it has been last gen, but it'll continue to be a multi-million copy selling game each year. There's not enough improvement to the mechanics. I don't mean adding gameplay aspects to a shooter. I mean mechanics of control, hit-detection… you know, basically the unexplainable crap that it's known for.
Offtopic: AC: Unity going for $30 @ Amazon today. If you like the game and odn't have it — buy it while supplies lasts.
